Welcome to the Old Irish Farmhouse
Set in a Perfect Seaside & Countryside Location in Dingle
The house is situated beside the sea amid the most stunning coastal scenery of the Wild Atlantic Way. The guests will have full use of the entire house and grounds.
There is ample off-road parking beside the house, but no public transport in the area, so a car (or bike for the hardy!) is necessary.
English and Irish spoken.
This area has inspired poets and artists – come and see what it might do for you!
Dingle Accommodation
Every room has a private bathroom (most are en-suite) and there are very generous breakfast choices. Great walking is available, with easy access to the Dingle Way (up a field!). We can’t offer Wi-Fi, but the views will make up for that. There is ample free parking.
Idyllic Location
The Old Irish Farmhouse is in a perfect seaside and countryside location on both the Wild Atlantic Way and the Dingle Way, with sea views from every room. Looking out across Dingle Bay to the Blasket and the Skellig islands, you will be entranced watching the boats pass by, and sometimes dolphins and whales can be seen! Whether you arrive by foot or by car this modernised 19th-century farmhouse in the peaceful setting of a sheep farm has all you might want for a peaceful escape.
Our History
The farm has been in your host’s family for several generations, and there are also early medieval ‘beehive’ huts on the farm. You will get a céad míle fáilte (great welcome) from Aedán, who has a trove of knowledge about the area’s history, as well as its modern attractions. Tá Gaeilge aige leis (he also speaks the Irish language).
